$Trump: It's good but TOO HYPED

Right now it is sitting at $25 billion for his official meme coin. That is absolutely insane. It actually launched at $500 million and now it is at $25 billion. But guys, we have to screw our smart caps on because right now, while this is trading, while this is going insane, there are a lot of voices. Some people think that this is an absolute grift. The best video on this is Voidzilla. He thinks this is an absolute grift by Donald Trump just to capture that inauguration hype. This is an amazing video already half a million views. Some people, especially those on Twitter, think that this is the next coming of Jesus. This is the next coming of Christ because, I mean, who's bigger than Donald Trump right now? Looks a little bit too slim to be an official Trump meme. You know, he looks like 30 years younger. All right, he knows what he's doing. Look at this. He's clearly looked at what a meme coin is and put caveats here. This is not intended to represent Trump. This is not a security of him. Like, we talked about meme coins that represents a person. Maybe, like, if you want to say, oh, if this person can be successful, can you buy into this person as if he's a company? This is not, right? It's very very well stated that this is just a meme. It's fun and games. It's entertaining. It's not political. It doesn't represent the U.S. It doesn't represent him in any way, his political party. It doesn't represent the U.S. government. At its current point, at its current point, this is purely a meme coin. Now, even though it's purely a meme coin, people are speculating about it. If you look at where it listed 31 hours ago, it listed at 500 million dollars, which is quite a lot for a meme coin to begin with. So we're not going to look at the price here. We're actually going to look at the market cap. This is a much more telling story. This is when, you know, if you're not in crypto, you might not realize that the creator of a coin can decide how many coins they want to create. So this is why the price doesn't really matter very much. We really want to just look at and focus on the market cap. So my first argument here, why I say it's right now, it's not what I'm going to buy, not what I'm going to hold, is because the market cap, the fully diluted valuation is really high. It's raised at 25 billion dollars. To put that in perspective, if this was a company, something like EA has a market cap of 37 billion dollars. They have a proven record, known IPs, a proven business model. You can go look that up. There's a lot of companies with 30 billion market cap and they've been established themselves for like 20, 30 years. This has been there for 31 hours. So the market cap of this is really insane. The larger the market cap, the harder it is for coin to moon, so to speak. So a lot of times when we're trading meme coins, we're looking for the 100x's, 1000x's, right? You want to put a dollar in and get a thousand out at the end, right? That's the meme coin dream. A lot of people might be thinking, oh yeah, this is a meme coin. So the meme coin dream applies here, but it actually doesn't. Because a lot of times when we're looking at meme coins, we're looking for sub 1 million cap. These are the tiny little unknowns, the tiny gems in the rough that we can discover and they can go astronomical. People inject, like maybe the community injects 30 million in and million in and then it goes crazy. But the problem with Trump right now, as this coin stands, is that it's billions. It's 25 billion dollars. This is a very, very strategic playing field. It's not really a degen playing field, it's a strategic market cap. So we position it here, it's next to others like Aptos, ICP, VeChain, chains that have been around for years, proven track record, proven volatility. So I think this is something to really keep in mind as well. A lot of people might be coming into this and thinking, oh, $26, right? That's not a lot. $26 for a Trump meme coin, that's not a lot. I mean, Solana's 200, Ethereum's 3000, Bitcoin's $104,000. So they might be looking just at the value of the coin and then saying, yeah, it's cheap right now. Yeah, it could go 100x. But the problem here is the market cap. The market cap is very, very big for what it is. And it's very hard to move something like this, to really heavily moon it without huge capital going in. And this really leads to my next point here, which is that it's built on Solana. Solana's great. I love Solana. But look at the market cap of Solana. It's $125 billion. It's not going to support trillions of dollars at this moment. This is why Solana's pumping, right? Right now, everyone's buying Solana to buy this Trump coin. But at some point, Solana's not going to be able to support this massive monster of a coin if you really want a 1000x on the Trump coin. Solana doesn't have the market cap to support that right now. It's not big enough. We're talking about billions of dollars here. So right now, even though the hype is huge, I do think that a lot of people could be mistaken to think, oh, it's a meme coin. All right. Memes can go 100x. So I feel like the upside for this coin is low. All right. That's just the way it is. It's low. It's not for the meme coin scalpers. Third argument I'm going to make is right now is the hype. The hype level, insane. Off the charts. Off the freaking charts. We know we're top blasting because it's just launched. Got a lot of attention. If you just look at news, it's everywhere. BBC is covering it. Economic Times are covering it. All major outlets are covering it because, I mean, come on, who wouldn't, right? Donald Trump's covering it, obviously. He's like, oh my God, we went up 10,000%. Everyone is talking about it, which is one reason why it's making me scared. If everyone is talking about it globally, everyone pays attention to what's happening in the US. There's no one else that doesn't know about it, right? You got to be living under a rock to not know about this. Talk to your taxi driver. He knows about Trump coin, right? And usually that signal is there. If your taxi driver knows about it, you got a problem. You got a problem. Now, you got too much hype. Too much hype. Too much hype. Too much hype. So, all right, that's kind of my three points. Now, I think now is a good time to go into discussions. I think I made my three points. I made it very clear. My point now is that it's too hype now. If I can short it, I'll probably play as a trader. I'll probably short it now and look for opportunities, right? So for me, summary, currently for me, not. But long term, holy shit, long term, this is insane. Trump is going to change the industry. He's going to change the entire industry. Oh, thank you. Thank you, Trump. You know, honestly, I'll be one of those guys who can say, thank you. Good job. Good freaking job, because he's going to change everything in this industry. The fact that he made a meme coin, the implications of this is huge. Because what prevents Elon Musk from making his own coin right now? Elon's probably be like, oh yeah. Hell yeah. Let's do a Tesla meme. Let's do some space rocket meme. Let's get some like juice meme. Whatever the hell he's on. He's going to be making a lot of memes. It's going to be even more memes. This is going to be the year of the crazy memes. I don't hate Trump. I just feel like the timing right now is the issue. Think about it. If Elon makes a meme, it's going to get listed too, right? You don't think Binance wants a piece of an Elon meme? You don't think Binance doesn't want a piece of a Joe Rogan meme? I mean, Trump did it. Copy his legal template. He's not going to get sued.
