Lombard BARD airdrop status in 2026
Lombard's token is no longer speculative. BARD launched on Ethereum in September 2025, and the former Lux points programme now converts qualifying activity into seasonal BARD allocations.
As of 13 August 2026, Lombard's documentation lists Season 1 Phase 2 and Season 2 as claimable through the official portal. Lux Season 3 is active, but its BARD allocation and claim date remain listed as to be determined. Depositing now cannot create eligibility for a completed season.
| Distribution | Allocation | Current status |
|---|---|---|
| Season 1 Phase 1 | 15 million BARD, 1.5% of supply | Claimed |
| Season 1 Phase 2 | 15 million BARD plus referral Lux rewards | Claimable since 18 March 2026, 09:00 ET |
| Season 1 final phase | 10 million BARD, 1% of supply | Scheduled by tokenomics for 12 months after TGE |
| Season 2 | 15 million BARD, 1.5% of supply | Claimable since 30 March 2026, 09:00 ET |
| Season 3 | Not announced | Lux earning active |
How to check a Lombard BARD allocation
- Reach claim.lombard.finance from Lombard's official site or documentation.
- Connect the same wallet used for eligible LBTC, BTC.b or Lux activity.
- Review each available season separately; allocations and claim timing differ.
- Keep ETH in the wallet for Ethereum gas.
- Verify the BARD contract before adding or swapping the token, and inspect every wallet request before signing.
A zero allocation can mean the connected wallet was not eligible, the wrong wallet was used, or that the activity belongs to another season. Lombard support should never ask for a seed phrase or private key. Do not pay a third party to “unlock” an allocation.
BARD and stBARD official contracts
BARD exists only on Ethereum mainnet. Lombard publishes these contracts:
| Asset | Role | Ethereum contract |
|---|---|---|
| BARD | Governance, protocol utility and security staking | 0xf0DB65D17e30a966C2ae6A21f6BBA71cea6e9754 |
| stBARD | ERC-4626 share token for the BARD staking vault | 0x4B266366dc8fF4c0007943a679CBa1fDB845f98D |
stBARD represents a share of the staking vault; it is not another airdrop token. Its redeemable BARD value can increase as rewards compound. Staking connects to Lombard's additional security layer for cross-chain LBTC transfers through Symbiotic infrastructure, and users take on vault, contract, restaking, slashing, liquidity and withdrawal-queue risks.
BARD tokenomics and unlocks
BARD has a fixed supply of one billion. Lombard reported 22.5%, or 225 million BARD, entering circulation at launch, while the rest unlocks over as long as 48 months.
- Ecosystem: 35%, including the first airdrop, community sale, ecosystem activation and development.
- Core contributors: 25%, with linear unlocks beginning 12 months after TGE.
- Liquid Bitcoin Foundation: 20%, partly available at TGE and otherwise released over three years.
- Early investors: 20%, with linear unlocks beginning 12 months after TGE.
Season 1's total allocation is 4% of supply across three phases. Season 2 used another 1.5% from the ecosystem-activation allocation. These unlocks and later contributor or investor emissions can change circulating supply and should be considered separately from protocol usage.
How Lux Season 3 works
Lombard says qualifying deployments of LBTC and BTC.b into listed DeFi integrations earn Lux. Season 3 uses standardized multiplier tiers across five chains and includes BTC.b activity. Only integrations shown as eligible by Lombard count; simply holding an asset or depositing into an unlisted vault does not establish a reward.
Season 3 has no published BARD pool or claim date yet. Lux is therefore a campaign accounting unit, not a guaranteed amount of BARD or money. The value of an eventual allocation can also be less than transaction fees, opportunity cost or losses taken in a DeFi strategy.
LBTC is not BARD
| Asset | Purpose | How value or balance changes |
|---|---|---|
| LBTC | Tokenized position backed by BTC staked through Babylon | Non-rebasing balance; BTC redemption rate can rise as net staking yield accrues |
| BTC.b | Non-yield-bearing token backed by native BTC | Designed for a fixed 1:1 BTC redemption relationship, before applicable fees |
| BARD | Lombard governance, security and protocol utility token | Market-priced ERC-20 with token unlocks |
| stBARD | Receipt for staked BARD | Vault-share value changes with net rewards and losses |
LBTC redemption to native BTC can take up to 10 days because of Babylon's unbonding period and Lombard's rebalancing. Lombard publishes a 0.0001 LBTC unstaking fee and an 8% commission on Babylon staking rewards. Main risks include validator slashing, a secondary-market depeg, smart-contract or cross-chain failure, liquidity shortages, redemption delays and any additional risk introduced by a third-party DeFi vault.
Corrections to the original April 2025 guide
- Lombard confirmed and launched BARD; it is no longer only a possible token.
- The first Lux season produced a 4% BARD allocation across three phases.
- Season 2 ended on 18 March 2026 and is now claimable.
- Season 3 is the current Lux campaign, with an allocation still to be announced.
- LBTC now accrues net Babylon yield through an increasing BTC exchange rate rather than requiring a separate token-reward claim.
- Depositing into a vault adds third-party contract and strategy risk; a points multiplier is not a return guarantee.

Did Lombard launch a token?
Yes. BARD launched on Ethereum in September 2025 as Lombard's governance, utility and security token.
Can I still claim the Lombard airdrop?
Lombard lists Season 1 Phase 2 and Season 2 as claimable. Eligibility was determined by the relevant historical Lux activity; new deposits cannot change a completed season.
What is the official Lombard claim website?
The official portal is claim.lombard.finance. Reach it through Lombard's main site or documentation and verify the spelling before connecting a wallet.
What is the official BARD contract?
BARD exists on Ethereum at 0xf0DB65D17e30a966C2ae6A21f6BBA71cea6e9754. Lombard says it does not have official contracts on other chains.
What is BARD's total supply?

Are Lux points guaranteed to become a fixed amount of BARD?
No. Lombard has not published Season 3's token pool or conversion formula. Qualifying rules and multipliers also depend on the listed integration and chain.
Are LBTC and BARD the same?
No. LBTC represents a yield-bearing Bitcoin staking position. BARD is a market-priced governance, utility and security token.
How long does it take to redeem LBTC for BTC?
Lombard says redemption can take up to 10 days, covering Babylon's seven-day unbonding period plus its rebalancing cycle.
What are the main risks of farming Lombard Lux?
Risks include Bitcoin and BARD price moves, LBTC depegging or slashing, smart-contract and bridge failures, liquidity and redemption delays, third-party vault loss, gas costs and an unknown future points conversion.
